What happens when a seemingly harmless and isolated man with a menagerie of strange animals and a tragic past in the desert crosses paths with a gang on the run from the law and in pursuit of riches? Set in the 1930s, THE DESERT LAIR is a short and not so sweet thriller reminiscent of the pulp stories of the era in which it is set that begs the age old question of who will win: man or animal?

THE BEING WITHIN MY WALLS accompanies The Desert Lair and is the story of a girl on the cusp of adulthood and the creature that has lived within her walls all her life that no one else but her believes exists until one fateful night.
